A couple friends came over to visit often in the summer with a case of beer in hand, wanting to share my company. Some friends, my brother and I were renting a flat on Cunard St, across from the MusicStop. I painted each day to the sounds of musicians singing and playing. What a Bohemian paradise!
My friends would visit with beer. I'd sit there for hours painting while we drank on the balcony overlooking drunken, sketchy people as they stumbled up the road at three thirty, after the bars had closed.
It was an interesting summer.
